Cassidy McCartan

Cassidy grew up in the prairie lands of the midwestern United States. She then ventured across the continent to attend the University of Rhode Island where she received her BFA in Acting, and a minor in Anthropology. Before moving to London for her MFA in Linklater Voice and finishing the Linklater Teaching Designation, Cassidy was a full time actor in New England. She primarily performed in Shakespeare plays, devised projects, and comedic plays, with the occasional musical. Some of Cassidy’s credits include Brutus in Julius Caesar, the nurse in Shakespeare in Love, Spencer in Macbeth, Mrs. Brill in Mary Poppins, Escalus in Measure for Measure, Daisy in The Great Gatsby, the father in Eurydice, and Jessica in This is our Youth. She has also performed in and facilitated a variety of Theatre of the Oppressed performances and workshops, including working with the Baytree Centre in Brixton, London. Outside of working as an actors and voice coach, Cassidy enjoys travel, anything outdoors, dogs, and experimenting with cooking.
