Niall Casserly

Niall is a recent graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, where he gained a Master of Arts in Musical Direction and Coaching with Distinction. Whilst at the Academy, he studied under some of the industry leading Musical Directors including Alfonso Casado Trigo, Martin Lowe, Nigel Lilley, Dan Bowling, and Chris Walker. He conducted their recent production of Carousel, with direction by Bruce Guthrie and choreography by Ben Hartley. In addition to musical directing and accompanying, Niall is an active instrumental teacher, repertoire coach and orchestrator. Since graduating, Niall has worked on Death Note (Palladium & Lyric), The Verge of Forever (The Other Palace) and is currently holding the keys chair on Thursford Christmas Spectacular. As a music copyist, he has worked at Abbey Road Studios and AIR Studios assisting one of London’s most respected copyists, Ann Barnard. He recently assisted Ann with music preparation for La Cage Aux Folles (Regents Park Open Air Theatre).
