Sake Wijers

Sake trained at the renowned Fontys Academy of Arts in
the Netherlands where he received his Bachelor Music
Theatre with a minor in vocal pedagogy. After graduating he received 4 scholarships to study at The Royal Academy of Music in London where he graduated with distinction.

During his time at RAM Sake got the opportunity to work with prominent people like Patti LuPone, Imelda Staunton, Claude-Michel Schönberg, Hadley Fraser and Sam Yates.

Sake’s credits include the West End production of Les Miserables and J.R.R Tolkien in the new musical workshop A Tale of Fellowship.

Sake is an associate vocal coach to the founder of ShowMinds, West End vocal coach Claire Underwood. As part of the ShowMinds team he provides private coaching and workshops allowing singing performers to concentrate on their mental scripts, and to work through stage anxiety and discover their true voice.
