Singing Teacher Vacancy

MPAA are looking for:
An experienced Singing Teacher to join our Musical Theatre Department to teach individual student Singing Technique. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of a variety of technical approaches to singing and have an understanding of Estill. MPAA prides itself on its Industry Led Learning and the ideal candidate will also have some experience of performing/working in the Musical Theatre Industry.
Applicants must have proficient keyboard skills.
The students will have module based singing assessments throughout their time studying at MPAA where they will need to show a progression of technical skills and ease of acting through song. As a technical tutor, you will work with the students on a weekly basis and be responsible for discussing their progress with the Director of MPAA both through end of term reports and verbal feedback.

PERSON SPECIFICATION ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

An up-to-date and well practised knowledge of all vocal styles needed for Musical Theatre Performance
Proactive and flexible approach to work.
Experience of working in a training environment
Clear evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship development
Having a polite and approachable manner towards Staff and Students
Clear drive, motivation and appetite for achieving results
Committed to personal development
Suitable qualifications in the teaching of singing or suitable references highlighting your achievements in this area
