Philip Comley

Phil began at The Coreen Bailey School of Dance in his hometown of Witney, Oxfordshire before training at Laine Theatre Arts. He graduated with teaching qualifications from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Choreography credits include: Associate Choreographer on We Will Rock You for the original Brazilian and Danish productions and the production for Royal Caribbean International. Associate Choreographer on Ragtime at the Landor Theatre, Clapham. Teaching credits include Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Guildford School of Acting, London Studio Centre, Associated Studios, Stageworks Studios, CBS Dance and The Centre Performing Arts. Performance credits include: Dance Captain / Swing in We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, London. Carbucketty / Mr. Mistoffelees / Coricopat / Skimbleshanks in two UK and International tours of Cats. Swing / Eugene / Sonny in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre, London. Ensemble in Beauty & The Beast UK tour. Swing in the original London cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium. Phil was also featured in the ‘Making of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ and the Original London Cast Recording. He currently teaches at Pineapple Dance Studios, Danceworks, Base Dance Studios and iD Studios.
