Ryan Gover

Ryan graduated from the Arts Educational Schools, London in 2010 where he received a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre.


Over the last decade, Ryan has been performing professionally in the West End, Internationally and around the UK. His first job was in the original production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. Since then, other notable stage credits include We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre; CATS at the London Palladium starring Nicole Scherzinger; Charlie & the Chocolate Factory & 42nd Street, both performed at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane; the international tour of Chicago & most recently Singin’ in the Rain at Sadler’s Wells Theatre & touring Japan.


Subsequent to performing in CATS, Ryan has been fortunate to assist the associate choreographer Chrissie Cartwright, on two international productions of the musical: Theatre Mogador, Paris in 2015 & Ronacher Theatre, Vienna in 2019.


Ryan can be seen hoofing in the 2019 filmed production of 42nd Street- The Musical. Additionally, he has backed numerous celebrities for ITV’s All Star Musicals in 2019, 2021 & 2022, choreographed by Olivier Award winner Bill Deamer.
Ryan’s career has given him the opportunity to perform at events such as the Olivier Awards, Royal Variety Performance, Sunday Night at the Palladium, The One Show and Children in Need, as well as being a part of both The Wizard of Oz and 42nd Street cast recordings.


Alongside performing, Ryan enjoys teaching. He has been a faculty member at the Royal Academy of Music teaching tap over the last five years and regularly guest teaches at Momentum PAA and other colleges in London.
Ryan has recently qualified as a Level 5 Soft Tissue, Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist and is about to embark on the UK Tour of Singin’ in the Rain.
